I had a fantastic time strolling through the stunning gardens during my stay, and the Exmoor Hawk and Owl Centre is only a short walk away, making it perfect for a weekend of exploration. the only suggestion would be to improve coffee service, but it didn’t detract from my lovely experience.

Staying in the self-catering apartment was a highlight, with private gardens that were perfect for our dog. The cheese and drinks honesty bar added a personal touch to our evening winds down.

Consider asking about nearby scenic walking paths for a delightful exploration experience right from the hotel!

The King Room with Garden View offered a pleasant escape, featuring a cozy bed that made sleeping easy after long days. Breakfast included an impressive selection of cereals, fruits, and pastries, creating a delightful start to each morning.

The bathroom setup required a quick dash across the hall, which may not be ideal for everyone, but it was spacious and clean. Some noise from families could disrupt a tranquil ambiance, especially if you're hoping for peace to observe wildlife. While there are snacks available, the lack of evening meals might leave you on the hunt for dining options in nearby towns.

The garden’s meticulous upkeep catches the eye, and I can't get enough of the stunning views it offers. The breakfast spread, featuring fresh strawberries and a variety of options, feels like a feast fit for a crew of smugglers on a break.

Room configurations vary significantly. some have bathrooms outside, which can be mildly inconvenient, especially for those who prefer en-suites. Noise from heavy wooden doors and the lack of soundproofing can be bothersome for light sleepers, though it didn’t ruin my experience.

Fantastic breakfast options. Enjoyed using the squash court and stunning views of the gardens. The bathroom in our room was small, making it tricky for sharing.

I had an incredible stay! The breakfast was truly outstanding, especially the fresh fruits. I loved every bite! The gorgeous views from my room made every moment magical. Oh, and that gin and tonic at the bar hit the spot after a long day!

my husband and i had an amazing stay at luxury bed and breakfast at bossington hall in exmoor, somerset. the garden is beautifully kept, and it's impressive how they even use robots for maintenance! our spacious room had a super comfy bed and a lovely bathtub with a great view. not to mention the fantastic breakfast selection, especially the fresh strawberries and berries that we looked forward to every morning.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful amenities provided, such as fresh milk and snacks in the room. The communal areas felt inviting, perfect for relaxing. the bathroom in our room was a bit small, making it somewhat tricky for two people to move around comfortably. having only limited meal options nearby posed a slight inconvenience, especially when returning from outings. The owners were incredibly friendly and provided helpful local recommendations. I would definitely recommend choosing this place for its charm and hospitality, just be prepared for the small bathroom and limited dining choices.

Staying with a group of friends was fantastic! We enjoyed long walks along the beautiful path near Bossington Hill and explored the stunning Bossington beach. The communal areas were lovely, with free coffee and snacks available 24/7. The owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Next time, we’ll definitely stay longer to soak in the gorgeous views!

The only issue was that the bathroom in our King Room was quite small, which made it a bit tricky for our group to share. A bit more space would have been ideal.
